PostCard is a software module that extends the functionality of Postilion Realtime to perform the following:

• Card status management
• Authorization services (using available balances or limits)
• PIN management
• Card production

PostCard was designed with two deployment scenarios in mind. In certain debit card markets, the US for example, processors play a significant role in providing services to a variety of card issuers; while in other parts of the world large banks typically retain all services in-house.

PostCard can therefore be owned and hosted by a processor that provides these services to various issuers, or by a large bank servicing many branches and divisions.
